Northern Pike Fishing
A healthy population of Walleyes means a banquet for big Northerns. Even with all that food they still attack your fishing line like a fresh water Barracuda. Big pike patrol the shoreline looking for anything that moves. The Chapleau Northerns will eat anything. Just make sure you keep a couple for lunch because the Northerns up here taste excellent. They are just as sweet as Walleyes.
There is great Northern pike fishing at all three of our locations. The Chapleau River location has a bounty of Northern Pike which you can take home to eat. Our full service lodge is on Adam's Lake which is just a couple miles away from our Chapleau River location. Adam's Lake is a catch and release trophy Pike lake and this rule applies to both accommodations at our Adam's Lake location and our outpost cabin on Copperfield Island. We want to preserve the lake so our customers can catch a big one.
- The limit for Northern Pike with a Sports License is 6 with only 2 greater then 24 inches and only one of these can be over 34 inches.
- With a Conservation License, you can only keep 2 pike with only 1 greater then 24 inches with no fish over 34 inches.
